We are pleased to invite you to the XII Latin-American Congress of Artificial Organs and Biomaterials COLAOB 2023 which will take place from December 12th to 15th, 2023 in the city of Mar del Plata, Argentina. The congress is jointly organized by the Research Institute of Materials Science and Technology INTEMA (UNMdP-CONICET) and the Biology and Tissue Engineering Laboratory LABOATEM (UNR-CONICET) Argentina.

Mar del Plata is located on the cost of the Atlantic Ocean, 400 km south of Buenos Aires Capital of Argentina, and is the biggest seaside beach resort in the country. 

Our aim is to bring together scientists, from both academia and industry, who are interested in a sharing their knowledge and insights into biomaterials science and engineering, artificial organs, and tissue engineering, as well as to discuss the advances in frontier issues in these fields.

The motto of Congress “Integrating and strengthening the Latin-American Biomaterials’ Community” will focus on institutional relations and scientific communication links between Latin-American research centers and universities, companies that develop and market biomedical products, and regulatory entities.

COLAOB will offer a unique opportunity for the young researchers, professionals and PhD students interact with leaders in the field and present their achievements during oral and poster sessions.
