Abstract Submission

Abstract (one page, PDF file) should be prepared according to the following template.

Each registered person can present up to two abstracts.


For abstract submission use the following form

PLEASE name for abstract’s file according to the following sequence:
Topic-Surnames of the first author-Initials of names-Number of abstract.pdf 

Example: Juan Carlos Rodriguez Pinto submits two abstracts in Topic 3
File name: T3-RodriguezPinto-JC-01.pdf 
File name: T3-RodriguezPinto-JC-02.pdf 

Plenary lectures should be in English. Keynotes and oral presentations can be delivered in any of the official languages of COLAOB (English, Portuguese, or Spanish).
All presentations should be uploaded no later than the previous session of your presentation.

To ensure the smooth running of the presentations, speakers are advised the following:

• Speakers are requested to be in their session room 10 minutes before the start of the session, and we request that you introduce yourself to the chairs of the session.
• The Chairperson will monitor your presentation time.
• Please check the schedule carefully for your session time and order of presentations.
• No personal computers will be allowed.
• All slides should be prepared in English using PowerPoint. You can use our template
• Please check all your videos run properly with the support team before your presentation.

PLENARY Conference: 50 minutes for the presentation and 10 minutes for questions and answers.

KEYNOTE Conference: 25 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for questions and answers.

ORAL Presentation: 12 minutes for the presentation and 3 minutes for questions and answers.

All poster sessions will be held in the Exhibition Room (2nd floor) and displayed for the whole day.
Poster can be prepared in any of the official languages of COLAOB (English, Portuguese, or Spanish) .
Please check the program for your poster number. Your poster location will be identified by that number. Posters will be arranged numerically and organized by topic. Those with a red circle correspond to posters whose authors applied to the Marcos Pinotti Award (Best Student presentation).
The poster area will be open from Tuesday 12th December afternoon for presenters to put up their posters. Posters may only be attached to the poster boards with scratch (available in Exhibition Room and at the Registration Desk).
Poster presenters must remove their posters after the last session. (Not collected posters will be discarded) .
Poster sizes-AO Portrait style (No Landscape): 84 cm wide by 118 cm tall.
